World’s oldest car sold for $4.6M

The De Dion Bouton Et Trepardoux Dos-A-Dos Steam Runabout aka ‘La Marquise’ is the oldest running car in the world has been fetched for $4.6 million. The 127-year-old steam-powered engine was made in France in 1884 for Count De Dion, a year before Daimler and Benz manufactured their first experimental gasoline-powered car.
