One of the last maps that documented how the earth really looked like – a flat-squared-stationary slab guarded by four angels was drawn by Orlando Ferguson in 1893. Don Homuth who kept the map since eighth grade donated it to the Library of Congress. As absurd as it sounds, there exists a modern day Flat Earth Society, which was founded by Daniel Shenton last 2004. As of May 2011, 265 believers have become a member.
