Absolutely ingenious!!! I just got off a plane yesterday and I think I and the young lady next to me were the only two people on the plane paying attention to the flight attendants during their routine demonstration. I guarantee if some American airline companies implement this tactic, along with some more modern uniforms, people will respect and pay more attention to flight attendants.
